DK Site Design Complaints

The complaint is against Diane Marie owner of DK Site Design in the UK.

I just opened up a new direct hire placement firm in Tempe, AZ called C & J Executives, LLC. I ran across DK Site Design by conducting a Google search online for website hosting and development. Currently, my office team consists of about 15 people but we have plans to grow in the near future (despite bad business deals). I hired Diane Marie, owner of DK Site Design to conduct a basic starter website for my company to post open positions for qualified professionals in accounting/finance. Diane agreed and I was excited to get my new company website launched and out on the web. I normally do not deal with marketing or website development vendors. My business partner, Babette Durso, usually takes care of that aspect of the company but was unable to take on more tasks during our time of need. Diane gladly accepted the project and her required deposit were paid. During our time together, Diane asked me to select a domain name for the site. I suggested domain names that were not available. Diane became impatient and insulting towards me. I then went to www.godaddy.com to search for available domain names and the site clearly indicated that my third selection www.candjexecutives.com was available. After making more insulting comments, Diane finally registered the domain name and designed a logo for the company.

Three weeks went by without any word from Diane so I contacted here to select a time for her to call my office so that we can discuss the site. She wrote back via email and said she was out of the office serving other clients and did not have the time to call because we had already discussed the site. Diane sent me a draft of the company site which looked GREAT! My staff members and I were excited. I attempted to setup all office emails using the new email accounts supplied by DK Site Design and was unsuccessful. I contacted Diane who always seemed like dealing with my company was a bother to her to explain that we could not set up our email accounts on Outlook Express and needed the incoming server information since she was providing the hosting. Diane gave me the requested information but said that I had to contact my ISP for the outgoing mail server. I contacted my ISP Cox( a major company here in the United States) and spoke to a professional there that clearly stated that whomever built the site would have to give me the outgoing mail server information since it was on their server, which my office team confirmed that usually that is how it should be. I contacted Diane again (DK Site Design) who became verbally abusive and refused all services never launched the site and refunded the deposit. Her reasons were that she could not deal with such dumb people. My staff and I had to start over and marketing revenues were lost because ads were purchased advertising the new Domain name www.candjexecutives.com which Diane (DK Site Design) kept the rights to and refused to give me information.

Since that time, Diane has been writing emails see below to me personally attacking me and the so called “failure” of my company because of our “American culture” by the way my company had to use a temp site until we found a new designer that we could trust due to our experiences with DK Site Design and she was very unremorseful and that’s an understatement. Here is what she had to say:

“Sorry, I forgot that you insular Americans can only understand the bastardised (that’s the correct English spelling with an s, not a z) version of the English language. No doubt you’ve never even heard of it as you’re not the brightest spark, but the University existed before American was even discovered by the Western world. You’re probably don’t even know your own history, but if it wasn’t for us, you’d be speaking Spanish. Ta ta!"

Once I read this email, I filed a complaint at http://www.complaintsboard.com/ under her company name DK Site Design. Diane contacted me again via email and here is what she had to say:

“You stupid f&%ing b**ch. Every single person I know in the industry (more people than you even know) is going to be writing about you and your company”.

I wish to protect other consumers by making my experiences with Diane and DK Site Design public knowledge that NO ONE deserves this type of treatment from anyone especially not someone who is charging for their services!
